February 10, 2016 - EC Meeting Minutes are posted in the section below.
**IMPORTANT INTERP UPDATE** - the TFA constitution does not clearly address documentation of online sources for Oral Interp events material for verification at the State Tournament. Therefore, an EC Amendment will be proposed at Convention later this year. However, for the purposes of THIS 2016 STATE TOURNAMENT, the EC passed clarification that if an online publishing source (ex. Mushroom Cloud Press, Speech Geek, etc.) is used in a qualifying event performance, then it must appear on the NSDA's List of Approved Online Publishers AND the coach/student/school must also provide proof (email receipt showing payment, paid invoice, etc.) of purchase of the material being performed at the Tournament.
*Further, INF manuscripts and POI sources must also be available throughout the State Tournament in case of protest, even though there will not be a "documentation check" for those events during the registration process.
*REMINDER* - ALL SCHOOLS MUST RESERVE THE NUMBER OF SUPP/CON EVENTS DURING ONLINE REGISTRATION, and then they must RE-REGISTER students on Friday night, after Main Event breaks are posted, per the State Tournament Schedule. Schools who did NOT pre-reserve entries WILL NOT be allowed to register students in those events.
